The hotel had a great location, just off the main street with shops and cafes nearby. The room was clean and tidy, with a spacious bathroom and a good shower system. I also appreciated the refrigerator with a freezer compartment, which was very useful for storing drinks and snacks during my stay. The friendly and welcoming staff made my experience even better.
The Wi-Fi and TV could be better. There were some connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi and the TV reception was not always clear.

I stayed at the Balmoral for a couple of nights while exploring Algonquin Provincial Park. The warm welcome from the caring staff made me feel right at home. They even provided coffee and muffins for breakfast. The room, though small and dated, had efficient AC and a TV with Netflix. The old-fashioned shower may not look fancy, but it works really well. The wifi connection was great, even on the veranda. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of everything in town and not too far from the waterfront. I also highly recommend the chip truck next door.
Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here during a road trip and the weather was perfect! My king room had all the essentials - a fridge to keep drinks cold, an air conditioner to beat the heat, and a TV for entertainment. 🌞 Enjoyed every bit of it!
